Formula & Method

Batches needed are B=QdYB = \left\lceil\frac{Q_d}{Y}\right\rceil where QdQ_d is desired quantity and YY is recipe yield per batch. Total ingredient for a per-batch amount aa is atotal=aBa_{total}=a\cdot B.

Notation used in the formulas: RR = Batches Needed; x1x_{1} = Recipe Yield; x2x_{2} = Desired Quantity; x3x_{3} = Key Ingredient Amount.
